This policy explains how Slap Mr Humble handles information when you use the browser game at slap.mrhumble.lol.
1. Information the game handles
Information you provide
The game does not ask you to create an account or submit your name, email address, or other profile information. If you use your device's share feature or copy a share message, that action is handled by your browser or device and the sharing service you choose.
Game information and technical data
Your personal slap count is saved in your browser's local storage under mr-humble-slaps, so it can remain available in that browser. When you play, the site receives slap batches and updates a shared total and country totals. The server uses the request's IP address to estimate a country for the leaderboard and to apply a basic rate limit. The application keeps rate-limit IP values in server memory and does not write IP addresses into the game's Firestore counter document. The database stores aggregate slap totals by country code.
The game sends event names, page paths, and limited gameplay details to an internal event endpoint and to Google Analytics through Firebase Analytics. Depending on the event, details can include slap milestones, a country code, or a leaderboard rank. The internal endpoint writes events to server logs. Google Analytics may also collect basic usage and device information as described in Google's documentation.
Firebase App Hosting and its underlying infrastructure may process technical request data to deliver, secure, and operate the site. Their own systems and policies govern infrastructure logs.
2. How information is used
Information described above is used to run the game, keep the shared counter and country leaderboard, prevent excessive requests, understand basic game interactions, and maintain the service.
3. Storage and service providers
The game stores the shared total, country codes, country totals, and an update timestamp in Cloud Firestore when running in production. Firebase App Hosting runs the web application. These Firebase services are provided by Google. The game does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
4. Retention
Aggregate game and country totals remain in the counter so the shared game can continue. The personal slap count remains in your browser until you clear that browser's site data. Event and infrastructure log retention depends on the hosting configuration and provider; the project does not specify a retention period for those logs.
5. Cookies and local storage
The game uses browser local storage to remember your personal slap count. Firebase Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to measure site usage. The application does not use advertising cookies for targeted advertising. Your browser or hosting infrastructure may handle other technical storage or request data needed to serve the site.
6. Sharing and third parties
The game does not sell or rent information. Google provides the Firebase hosting, database, and analytics services described above. If you choose to share a game message, the browser or service you use to share it handles that activity under its own terms and privacy policy.
7. Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect the service and its stored game data. No internet service can guarantee that transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children's privacy
The game does not request account details or personal profile information. If you have a concern about information handled by the service, contact us using the address below.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the game changes. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
